Project summary: Developing nutrition labels for hospital restaurant menus and patient menus The Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to work with a student to develop nutrition labels for the hospital restaurant menus and patient menus, including using the red, amber and green colour coding. These nutrition labels would then be available for all food sold within the hospital restaurants/ with the staff and patient menus and will help staff, patients and visitors choose between products and keep a check on the amount of foods they are eating which are high in fat, salt and added sugars- enabling people to make better and more informed food choices.
