Detailed summary: How Trade Unionists in Yorkshire and Humber energy-intensive industries view the action needed to reduce greenhouse gases from their industry.
What level of understanding do they have of what action is needed? How committed are they to this action? How much do they understand and support the industrial strategies needed (if such exist)? What do they see as barriers or supporting factors to such action? What priority do they give it?
These questions have been generated as part of a participatory action research project which is getting off the ground in 2016 (currently on an unfunded basis). We would like to explore a dissertation project that helps establish baseline information and contacts for the bigger project, e.g. carrying out interviews in a particular workplace.
