Short summary: My dissertation looks at quantifying the environmental impact of the coffee supply chain by calculating the carbon footprint.
Detailed summary: This study will obtain data relating to energy use, waste management and raw material consumption to quantify the positive and negative impacts of the Coffee supply chain (CSC). The environmental impact will be quantified using the carbon footprint calculation. This will identify hotspots of GHG emissions within the stages of the CSC to determine and justify a change in process or product.
