Short summary: I would like to consider how ethical "commercial giants" really are; are the current corporate governance and CSR frameworks just tick box exercises?
Detailed summary: We have seen in the past that the moment someone chooses to delve deeper into a company's ethical practices, it quickly becomes an ethical scandal, no matter how ethical the company claims to be. The Co-operative Bank is a recent example of claiming to be one the most ethical organisations, and yet when investigated, it was found that the company had betrayed the trust of its Trustees.
